About the artist: Dennis Pullen was commissioned by the New York State Institute for Health Transition Training to make this painting about transition. Dennis Pullen is an award winning painter, writer, and orator. He has a developmental disability due to a childhood accident that resulted in quadriplegia. He paints by holding paint brushes in his mouth. He lives independently in Oswego, NY.
